At the heart of the safe is a specially developed proprietary barrier material, encased as a single piece using multiple bend techniques within a rivetless body. Guardwel also controls the quality of its TRTL barrier through its in-house modern casting facility. 

The specification is designed around physical attack resistance.

Guardwel A Class Safes conform to IS 550 and are classified as Torch and Tool Resistant, TRTL 30 × 6. The range extends from compact 50-litre models to large 1,372-litre configurations, allowing banks to specify storage according to operational requirements. 

Security is not left to the barrier alone.

The safes feature dual control and 8-lever key locks, with options including mechanical combination locks, time locks and electronic keypad locks. Guardwel's automatic re-locking mechanism is designed to keep the safe secured even if the lock is dislodged, while the door is designed to remain closed even if the hinges are cut.
