SAFE DEPOSIT LOCKERS: WHERE SECURITY MEETS TRUST
Some things have a value that cannot be measured in money.
A family heirloom. Important property documents. Jewellery passed down through generations. Certificates and papers that represent years of work. When people place these possessions in a bank’s safe deposit locker, they are not simply storing valuables—they are placing their trust in the institution protecting them.
That makes the safe deposit locker far more than a storage compartment. It becomes an important part of a bank’s physical security infrastructure.
BUILT AROUND PROTECTION
A dependable safe deposit locker begins with the right construction. Guardwel Safe Deposit Lockers are manufactured using prime-quality, rigorously tested steel plates on all sides for strength and durability. Their thick front door plate provides additional protection to the locking mechanism, creating another layer between the contents and external threats.
Security, however, is not only about what a locker is made of. It is also about how it is protected against time and use.
Guardwel applies a 5-zone, 8-stage surface treatment process to its SDL components to enhance corrosion resistance and longevity. The lockers are equipped with an in-house manufactured 7-lever dual-control locking system, adding another level of controlled access.
DESIGNED AROUND REAL REQUIREMENTS
Every bank has different spatial and operational requirements. Guardwel therefore offers standard as well as customised locker sizes, including configurations that can be divided horizontally or vertically to optimise available space. Options such as padlocking hasps and smart access systems; including biometric, OTP, smart card and RFID-based access; provide further flexibility.
The lockers are tested for burglary attack as per IS 5244, with multiple configurations available across BIS types and sizes.
Because ultimately, a safe deposit locker does more than secure possessions.
It protects the trust behind every possession.
